Trained in interior soft furnishings and antique furniture while working in Dorset England on his OE, Chris returned to the family business in the late 1980's to extend the offering of furniture and carpet and transition into design décor and recycled rimu reproduction furniture.

15 years later Chris formed a partnership with brother Barry and purchase the retail side of the business from the family. Since then he travels to overseas trade shows annually looking for unique and competitive products which gives Redmonds store its creative style.
